This is one of Brigitte Eberls newer releases, ‘Lajjina’ and as with all her sculptures, Lajjina, a highly spirited Arabian Mare (traditional in size) is amazing. She has been painted with Tamiya paint, which are high quality acrylics, but almost like oils, so they are long lasting and have incredible rich tones to them. I've done her in a subtle dappled dark chestnut with deeper chestnut colored mane and tail.  Eyes, nostrils and hooves are highly glossed. Her mane and tail were enhanced  using Amazing Sculpt and mostly just added some fullness to them. She has 3 socks, natural hooves, a full stripe with a cute button hole near the top, tri-eyes that show great depth and emotion. Many hours of prep work has gone into this piece before I even started to paint her and no detail was missed. Her base has real sand added to it and then both were sealed with Testors Dullcote several times for a lasting finish.
